The Tressaurian Intersection premiered in Austin, Texas one year ago today. Probably the best fan made Trek episode made so far.
The 21 Minute introduction to the upcoming Axanar feature film is now available to the public! The Axanar team have posted the video on Kickstarter to help raise awareness of the fundraising effort for the main film and have asked that it not be posted elsewhere, so you will have to head over there to see it in HD.
Believe Moby, it is worth checking out.
In any case here is the short non-HD version, only 5 minutes long, that I can post here(via Kickstarter).

Moby has been keeping up with Facebook a lot more lately. I think it is addictive, TBH. But one thing I have learned from checking in so often is that there are a few more of these Original Series Star Trek fan films being proposed or produced. And for whatever reason, it seems like a lot of them are fundraising about this same time.
Right now there are Indiegogo.com and/or Kickstarter.com campaigns underway for Starship Farragut, Star Trek Continues, and New Voyages/Phase II. And those are just the ‘Big Boys’. There are a few smaller productions vying for your support as well. Continue reading »
