Might there still be another version in the future?
Well, I would like to create another version, if only to update the talent file capabilities. But I’m not in a rush. I work on it maybe five hours a week. So it will take many years before it’s finished. If ever. I don’t really think of it as a “project” right now. It’s just something that’s out there.
The future beyond Hollywood games?
I’m always working on something. Right now I’ve got an RPG I’d like to do. That’s my current computer game project. It’s going slow because I don’t really know yet what I want to do exactly. But I’m having fun. I’m also about two days away from finishing a novel.
Whatever became of “too broad of a comedy?”
Funny you should ask. Just last month (Nov 2013) I took the basic idea that was the impetus for that screenplay and coupled it with another idea I had, and now I’m currently writing a sitcom for an actor pal of mine from the old days. I don’t think we’re going to hit pilot season next year because he’s shooting a movie until May, so this one isn’t on the front burner anymore, but we’re having a blast writing it.
For me, everyday is a blank piece of paper. Sometimes I write code, sometimes I write words, sometimes I just crumble it up and go read a book. I love my life.
